Conmix Insubond is a dry pre-mix, thin bed adhesive mortar specially formulated for gluing organic insulation boards against inorganic materials, for use in both internal and external applications. It helps in protecting plaster against uneven and excessive evaporation, and from strong flows of dry air, by ensuring that all required and necessary insulation has been properly installed to the building surfaces.
Cement Sand Mixture
Portland cement plasters made with perlite aggregate instead of sand offer many advantages, such as better fire resistance, better insulation, and they weigh approximately 60% less than conventional cement and sand plasters. With the addition of fiber reinforcement, superior crack resistance is achieved. In addition, fiber reinforced perlite cement plaster panels can be safely and easily handled, from the site of their production to the location where they will be applied.
Our Mortar Plasticizer, Megaflow MP, improves the workability of mortars without the addition of lime. It helps in removing grittiness to provide a smooth mortar with improved adhesion and reduced water content. It is generally used as an additive in mortars of block work, brick work, cement sand renders and plasters, however, it is not suitable for structural concrete.
